Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Occupational Therapist position is available at an elementary school in Joliet, IL, supporting a specialized autism program. This contract role covers a leave period from February 20 to April 27, 2026, with working hours from 8:15 AM to 3:50 PM. The therapist will manage both direct and indirect services within the caseload.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide occupational therapy services tailored to students in an elementary school setting.
- Deliver specialized interventions to support students in an autism program.
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to implement therapy plans.
- Maintain accurate documentation of services and progress.
- Participate in team meetings and parent conferences as needed.
Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapist (OT) license required.
- Experience working with school-aged children preferred.
- Background in autism spectrum disorders and related therapies is highly desirable.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
